In Knoxville, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in Tennessee, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.

Do with this image what you will, but this business is untrustworthy. The Better Business Bureau (BBB) has labeled them as out-of-business, as seen in the first photo, yet they are posting misleading information that they have been complaint-free for a year, as seen in the second photo. I found this information to be interesting, as I don't know how BBB could characterize them as out of business, yet they have been complaint-free for a year. Therefore, I thought I would share it with others that are looking for a reputable and trustworthy nursery. One nursery that fits the description of a trustworthy and reputable business would be a business such as Stanley's Greenhouse! They're customer service and selection is outstanding! I would definitely check them out, if you're an avid plant connoisseur.

The owner of this nursery failed perform on a landscape contract, gave me the run around for months, refused to refund my deposit, and refused to show up for a court summons where I am suing to get my deposit back. He is not licensed for any landscape/home improvement contracting. I would avoid this business and any other business Ben Jones is associated with, he doesn't deserve a penny of your hard earned money.

We purchased bulk mulch from them 2 years ago for the bed beside our house and it did a great job! We didn't even put landscaping fabric down and it did a great job! So we decided to give them a call this year as we wanted to update our front bed and add a new layer to the side bed. Wow what a difference new management makes! People sound like they like their jobs, and were very courteous. Good prices too! If you are looking for bulk (by the cubic yard scoops) of mulch, this is a great place to get it!

Me and my husband came here for the first time this past weekend and had the best experience. They have high quality material at the best prices! Not to mention the employees are the most godliness, sweet people there are. We have already recommended all of our neighborhood and we will become regular customers.
